 In light of the COVID-19 situation, we have decided to convert the auction portion of our APWA fundraising event ‘Boots & Bling’ into a Virtual Auction. We have been planning this event since last fall and over forty local businesses from around Alaska have generously donated items which will be featured in the online Auction.
Challenge Alaska is our non-profit partner for fundraising this year, everyday they make a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities in our community. It’s why our sponsors and donors have already given so generously, and why we are committed to doing everything we can to support this great cause, even during these exceptional times. We recognize that all our supporters are facing their own challenges during this crisis, and we are extremely appreciative of everyone’s continued assistance. Alaska has a strong community spirit and we want to use the virtual auction to celebrate our local businesses. Over the coming days we will be showcasing those who have helped us to make this possible.
