We like to try different things for our Monthly Gatherings. Past events include mini-golf, an escape room, karaoke, and plenty of lunches and dinners at local restaurants around town. If you have something you'd like to try let us know! 

Most events are very casual - come if you can. We appreciate an RSVP so we know how many to reserve/book for. Each person pays for themselves.

Join us at our Fall Welcome Event:

Join us at our annual Fall Welcome Social “An Autumn Affair brought to you by APWA”.
Come to network, learn more about APWA, and enjoy food and drinks!

  • When: Thursday, October 15th from 6:00-8:00PM (this is a come-and-go-event)
  • Why: Twice a year APWA hosts a welcome event to encourage our local community to learn more about us and what we do in the Anchorage community.
  • Dress: Business Casual with a sparkle
  • ​Cost: Free!
  • Bonus: We are collecting donations to give to Clare House. Clare House is an emergency shelter for women with children and expectant mothers. Clare House provides safe, warm shelter, meals, and other necessities for both moms and their children. While families are staying at the shelter, Clare House offers 24-hour support and case management services to help guide families to permanent stability.
  • Donations of: Women’s deodorant, Baby clothing (all sizes), Diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6, and all sizes of pull-ups), Baby wipes, Baby shampoo, Baby wash, Baby oil will be gratefully accepted.

This event is open to the general public. Since alcohol will be available, this is a 21 or older event. No charge. 
Join us for our first luncheon of the year at Sofra's to enjoy authentic breakfast and lunch, handcrafted pastries, and rich coffee in a space designed to bring people together.
