President's Message

On behalf of the Anchorage Petroleum Women’s Association, welcome (back) to APWA, and thank you for  your membership for the 2025-2026 year.

Since our founding in 1958, APWA has provided its members opportunities to Meet new people at social events and activities, Grow through new experiences, and Give back to our community through volunteerism and financial support, and we are looking forward to a great year continuing this tradition.

Joining an Activity Group and attending our Monthly Gatherings are the best ways to make the most of your membership and make connections. To find out what’s happening:

• Read our monthly Communique, sent directly to your email the first Sunday of the month, to learn of events. (Some email clients filter out our Communique so make sure you check your filters).
• Join an Activity Group via their Facebook groups or contacting the activity leader directly.
• Bookmark ancpwa.org for an easy way to check on events, and to pre-register for special events.
• Access our Membership Directory published each year in paper or electronic format.

• Build community through the APWA Members Discussion Board on Facebook
• Buy and sell personal goods or services to other members through APWA Buy and Sell on Facebook.

We are always happy to hear back from our membership on how we can serve you better, so please don't hesitate to reach out.

Sincerely,
Kirsten Tschofen, President
