Welcome to APWA! 

Are you looking for a way to expand your social network?

We are a diverse group of women of all ages, who come from Alaska and around the world. We welcome members who work in the petroleum industry and their partners, as well as non-industry members.

What we all have in common is our shared desire to
  • MEET new people at social events and activities, 
  • GROW through new experiences,
  • GIVE back to our community through volunteerism and financial support.
We truly believe APWA offers something for everyone, and look forward to renewing old friendships, rekindling lost connections, and making new friends.

If you are new to APWA, we would like to extend a warm welcome, and if you are a seasoned member we thank you for your continued dedication to our organization. There are many ways for you to engage the APWA - you can participate in our Activity Groups, attend our Monthly Gatherings and Special Events, help plan our fundraising activities on behalf of our non-profit partner, and even join the Board of Directors (no experience necessary).

Who Are We?

Any Anchorage-area women over 18 are welcome to join. Petroleum Membership is available for those women with a connection to the oil and gas industry through their own work or their partners, while Associate Membership is for anyone else that wishes to join. Upon joining, members receive a monthly newsletter via email, which provides information about organizational activities, gives access to our private Facebook pages, and allows the ability to participate as much or as little as you have time for.
