If you make a reservation and do not attend, you are still responsible for paying for your spot. We need to give the restaurant numbers a few days before the event and are charged for every reservation (regardless of no shows). We invite you to join us at our May luncheon on Wednesday, May 17th at The Petroleum Club. At this luncheon, we will present the check to our 2016-2017 charity, The Alaska Zoo, and install the new 2017-2018 Board of Directors members. This luncheon is a a wonderful opportunity to catch up with friends (or meet new friends) before the great Alaska summer takes hold. This is our final luncheon of 2016-2017 year.

What is the APWC Charity Gala? It's an evening of food, drinks, silent and live auctions, and entertainment, including a live band, to raise funds for this year's charity selected by APWC members. This year’s beneficiary is The Alaska Zoo and its animal outreach programs offered to students of all ages in Anchorage and the surrounding areas.
When and where will this year’s event be held? Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Downtown Anchorage Marriott
Who’s coming to the gala? Anyone can purchase a ticket.
How much are tickets? Tickets are $100 per person. Tickets can ONLY be purchased online through the website www.petroleumwives.org. Due to the Zoo's popularity within Anchorage, we anticipate a high interest in the event and are offering APWC members the first chance to buy tickets. From October 1-31, individual tickets are for sale only to APWC members. On November 1, tickets go on sale to the public.
Are tickets refundable? No. However, tickets are transferable up to one week prior to the event (January 28, 2017). Email firstname.lastname@example.org with the details regarding who will be taking your ticket(s).
If I’m coming with a big group, do we need to buy tickets together or is it “general admission”? Single ticket sales are general admission, and this year we’ve added a new option for large groups. If you like, you can purchase up to 10 tickets so that your group will sit together. One person in your group can purchase all the tickets, or each person can purchase their own ticket. There will be a registration form that you will need to fill out. On the registration form you can indicate whom you would like to sit with. This form will be located on the APWC website. You will need your confirmation number from your email confirmation, names & emails of all persons attending that you bought tickets for to fill out the registration form. This form must be submitted at the latest 3 days after buying your tickets to confirm your seats. (This is where you can also let us know of any dietary information.) The email addresses will not be used for anything other than to keep everyone in the loop on last-minute announcements.
Do I need to print out a ticket receipt and bring it with me? We think it’s a good idea to do that, but you don’t have to. When you purchase tickets online you will also need to fill out the registration form. Your seats can’t be confirmed until we have received your registration form. This form is located under where you will purchase your ticket online. You will need everyone’s name that you have purchased a ticket for and email addresses. We’ll have a record of your purchase and a list with all those names at the door. When you arrive, we’ll check you in at the entrance. Can’t wait to see you there!
Will I need to bring money to the Gala? Everything at the gala can be purchased using the bid number you'll be given at the check-in. This includes drinks, auction items, raffle tickets, general donations for the charity, and so on. However, if you wish to pay cash at the bar, for raffle tickets, or at the final check-out, you are welcome and able to do so.
